2018 Awards

The York Design Awards aims to encourage and promote excellence in design and conservation, striving for the highest standards which will delight present and future generations.

These prestigious Awards are now entering their twelfth year and are open to all developments within the City of York Council boundary, normally completed within the last three years. This year we are proud to be part of the York Festival of Ideas which takes place between 5 and 17 June. We are running two Walking Trails again as part of this exciting festival, which are free to attend and provide a unique opportunity to visit York Design Award-winning buildings from the first 11 years of the scheme. Our prestigious Awards Presentation Evening which takes place on 25 June also features in the programme. Book your place for the Walking Trails and read more about the Festival of Ideas here.
