Leading land, property and business consultancy George F. White has become the latest business to give its backing to the York Design Awards, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary year.
George F. White, who operates North Yorkshire offices in Shiptonthorpe and Bedale, is the latest corporate sponsor to commit to supporting the York Design Awards which celebrates and promotes good design within the city of York. The company joins a growing list of supporting businesses and organisations in the architecture, development and property sector, including main sponsor Hiscox.
Serving a region which extends from Southern Scotland down to North Lincolnshire and employing over 120 people, George F. White has been serving the market for over 37 years. Having established its business originally to serve the agricultural and rural sector, it has evolved into a comprehensive consultancy business providing everything from farm valuations and farm business consultancy to estate and property management, RIBA Chartered architectural services plus planning and development services.
George F. White’s Hunter Hardy, Head of Architectural Team, says: “It’s a pleasure to be part of the York Design Awards and to be supporting good design in the city. We believe this annual programme is extremely valuable in inspiring and encouraging future developers to create new buildings in a way that maintains York’s appeal as a first class place to live, work and visit.”
Janet Hopton, Chair of the York Design Awards adds: “We are delighted to have George F. White on board as a sponsor. If it wasn’t for the generous support of businesses and other organisations in and around the city the awards would simply not be able to operate. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2016, there has never been a better time for George F. White to get involved with the York Design Awards and we look forward to building a long and mutually beneficial relationship with them.”
