24 Hob Moor Terrace was the standout winner at the 2024 awards scoping 3 prizes. They not only won a residential award and the sustainability award but took home the “best of the best” Lord Mayor’s Award. The project took on the transformation of a neglected Victorian terraced house turning it into a sustainable family home and workspace. It combines the structural aspects of the previous Victorian dwelling with sustainable elements such as a wildflower meadow and PV array.
Architect and home owner Phil Bixby now only has a 3 step daily commute across the small internal courtyard to reach his office every morning.
